Super Girl Movie Poster Work in Progress
I started working on this piece earlier in the week (mock movie poster) in an ongoing process of updating my illustration portfolio and locking in some new working methods. It's on a grey gessoed 20"x30" board. It took about a day and half to draw it in twice (first initial drawing then a second darer refining pass). I followed it up with laying in the darkest darks and textures with black acrylic and the lightest lights with white acrylic. The next stage is laying in the transparent colours with acrylic over the next couple of days.
I'm happy with the design all how all the elements are playing off each other... so far so good.
