SuperGirl Movie Poster

Mock Supergirl movie poster
20"x30", acrylic and prismacolour on illustration board.
I'm happy with how it turned out, like the look and feel of it plus the turnaround time (about 4 working days). The original and prints are available if anyone is interested. Think I've got some Fett goodness coming up next... stay tuned.

Wrapped up this painting this morning, happy with the results and how things balanced out. I think this will be the last new painting before the studio tour at the end of October (might be a couple drawings, prep sketches)

Mother Earth, Father Time

Finally put the last touches on the Mother Earth painting in this two part piece. These were about 5 months in the works (about 3 months trapped in the head and about five-six weeks to create) Pretty happy with them, came out relatively close to what I had trapped in the skull. Think I am going to so some prints up (the two and the grouping) If you're interested drop me a line here or at info@brentschreiber.com. Always a little weird wrapping one up.... have to jump into the unknown and the next one.

Popping the blog cherry....

First post and what to say.... I'm a full time artist and illustrator in Elmira (Kitchener / Waterloo area), Ontario Canada. I'm a traditional realist with a love/obsession for comic art, science fiction, fantasy and cartoons with a bit or social commentary and spiritual pondering (makes for a lovely mix).
This will be a mix of completed work, work in progress and hopefully some type of interesting log of this little amazing and at times head slamming artistic journey I started about two years ago. Anyways, enough blabbering... here's a bit of what I do.
