New Book Cover Illustration - Progress

Here is the final canvas drawing on the latest book cover I have on the go. The author gave me permission to post progress images so I will do my best to be consistent with posts. This one is going to be an eye bleeder but looking forward to the process.

Horse Portrait in Progress

Horse Portrait in Progress
Started some work on this small horse portrait (8"x10") this morning to fill in some stop and start gaps on some commercial work. About 2.5 hours to do the initial lay-in on the horse, leaving the tack and white patch on his face alone until it gets more developed. Going to pick away at this as I have time, will post progress as it comes.
