John Deere - Premier Elmira Grand Opening

Public Grand Opening for the new John Deere - Premier Dealership in Elmira ON. 
I'm very grateful to the staff and management for selecting me to do a painting in honour of the occasion. It was a wonderful crowd this morning and they have distributed over 1500 prints of the painting over the last 2 days (WOW!!!!) The event runs until 3 PM today so if you get a chance stop in.

Framing, Wiring and the Kitchen Sink

Finished up all the major prep work (framing, matting and wiring) on all the pieces for the upcoming Surreal Show at the Cambridge Arts Centre (June 26th-July 26th, opening July 4th 7-9). Nice having everything done and a week to spare before the installation. Here's a quick sneak peak of everything ready to go.

Just wrapped up this steampunk girl commission for a client. She wanted a combination of some chakra imagery combined with a traditional steampunk theme. I added the gun and dove to do a ying yang balance, really pleased with the results and a happy client.

Surreal Cambridge Art Centre Group (Brent Schreiber, Sean Chappell, Robin Crank) Show June 26th-July 26th

THE PARROT KNEW BUT WOULD NOT SAY...  THE SURREAL WORKINGS OF ROBIN CRANK, BRENT SCHREIBER AND SEAN CHAPPELL

I'm very pleased to be participating in a three person surreal exhibition at the Cambridge Art Centre (Cambridge ON) along with Robin Crank and Sean Chappell. The show starts June 26th and runs through July 26th 2014. The opening reception is July 4th. I will have 14 pieces (new and existing) on display along with the fantastic work of both Sean and Robin. All pieces are available before and through the show. The venue's address is 60 Dickson Street, Cambridge ON. I will post more information as the event gets closer and I hope you get a chance to stop in and support our local art community.
